We’ve developed our own weight loss program based on research and our own extensive experience. Each program is precisely customized to the goals of our clients and involves diet and exercise. Equally important, we assign a “buddy” – one of our trainers – to work with you directly, as research demonstrates that you’ll make significantly more progress if you have long-term support from another person. That’s because the “best” weight loss program is the one you can stick to, and your buddy makes that easier and more fun.
It’s important to combine exercise and the proper diet because of how the body functions. You’ll gain a pound for every 3,500 excess calories you consume, unless you burn it off. If the imbalance is significant, the pounds build up. And up.
Justice would demand that burning calories would be in the same proportion as taking them in. Unfortunately, it’s not. It’s how much you weigh that actually dictates how many calories you burn per hour. That’s why it is critical that every weight reduction program be tailored to the individual. And that’s what we do.
